Our history
The College of Graduate Studies for Security and Legal Sciences was registered by Cabinet Resolution No. (485) of 2023, final, dated December 28, 2023, to nominate an Internal Secretary on September 3, 2023, with the aim of developing sugar in Libya. In 2024, work began on regulating the college, with Dr. Khaled Saad Al-Faidi as its dean.
During the first months, the college formed its statutes, the scientific and administrative unit, and the academic environment body.
The College's Vision:
To be a leading academic institution in the field of political science, working to build government capacity to confront security challenges, and supporting the growth of specialized knowledge.
College Objectives:
1. Preparing and qualifying high-level academic and professional skills.
2. Supporting internal agencies with security and criminal studies.
3. Conducting analytical and applied studies based on a precise scientific approach.
4. Developing the research skills of officers and traditional personnel.
5. Establishing an interactive scientific environment that responds to the requirements of Libyan reality.
Currently Accredited Academic Departments:
1. Department of New Sciences: Concerned with the study of crime, the main subject, evidence analysis, and theft of species.
2. Department of Wealth and Heritage Management: Specializes in developing a permanent approach to dealing with diversity, identifying diversity, and planning for preparedness.
3. Department of Cybersecurity: Focuses on protecting the digital infrastructure and, consequently, cyber threats, and is capable of handling digital data.
Forever:
Develop specialized research programs on national issues, enhance academic cooperation with local and regional universities, and open new centers in the southern region, essential for advanced training.
The Global College will serve as a model tributary to the national security system, relying on scientific application, and thus creating a security elite capable of facing challenges with a strategic vision and solid knowledge.

The college is not merely an educational institution; it is a beacon of specialized scientific knowledge, highlighting the development of the skills of the ministry's personnel and providing them with the latest sciences and knowledge in the security and cultural fields. Through our advanced educational programs at the graduate security studies level, we have strived to enhance the competencies and capabilities of our cadres, enabling them to face contemporary human challenges with confidence and competence.
The specializations offered by the college, which were fully selected for the ministry, directly contribute to our capabilities in the areas of preservation, security, law, and society. We believe that investing in active education is the best means of development and a safe and prosperous infrastructure for our beloved nation.
